What format and resolution do my images need to be?

We only accept JPEG (.JPG) images. We recommend 300 dpi resolution for all digital images. Images will be reduced or enlarged in proportion to their original size to fit the print space. To get an idea of the print quality of your images, please be sure you look at the generated calendar PDF at 100%. If you have a question about resolution or formatting please contact us.

How many pictures do I upload per month? Per calendar?

For all calendar types, you can upload one image file at a time. (You can create collages using photo editing software to combine multiple pictures into one image file.) For Full-Size calendars and Half-Size calendars, you will be able to upload one image file per month and an additional image file to use for the front cover. For Tear-Off calendars you will be able to upload one image file.

What if I can't upload my image files?

If you are having difficulty uploading your image files, please be sure that you are using the correct format. If you are still having difficulties, please contact us. When sending an e-mail or if leaving a voice mail message, please by sure to include your name, a phone number where you can be reached, and the best time of day to reach you.

How do I get my pictures on my calendar?

Through our online calendar creation process, you will be uploading your monthly and cover images. We recommend having all of your images ready to upload and saved in one place prior to starting your order to expedite the calendar creation process. Please be sure that you are using the correct format.

Product Information: Special Occasions/Holidays & Other Features

Can I see a preview of my calendar before I print?

Yes. Once you have finished designing your personalized photo calendar, an Adobe Acrobat PDF will be generated. We recommend that you look over the generated calendar carefully for spelling errors, typos, omissions, etc. in all the text entered before printing. You should also check to be sure that your images are in the correct order and that you do not have duplicates. You can always edit the calendar and preview it again before printing.

Can I add or remove special occasions/holidays?

Yes, you can customize the holidays to create your own personalized special occasions on your calendar. To remove holidays, simply delete the holiday name. To add a holiday or other occasion on each date, simply type it in on that day. If you have no clipart selected for that date, you can type in up to 15 characters, including spaces, on each line and there are four lines per day. If you do have clipart selected for that date (Premium Members only), you will be limited to two lines of text. Please see our holiday chart for a complete list of holidays included in our calendars.

What if I have multiple special occasions/holidays for one date?

You can add as many personalized special occasions per day as you can fit in the space. If you do not select clipart for that date, you will have four lines of type. If you do select clipart for that date (Premium Members only), you will be limited to two lines. For each line, you can type in up to 15 characters (including spaces). If we have included a holiday on a date you wish to personalize, you can simply delete the holiday we have included.

Can I add clipart to my special occasions?

If you are a Premium Member, you can now add about 40 different pieces of customized clipart -- created just for My Calendar Maker -- to any date on your calendar at no charge. When designing your calendar, you will have a drop-down list of clipart on each calendar date for you to choose from. If you've already started your calendar as a free member, but would like to join to have access to clipart and other enhanced features, you can become a Premium Member and still have access to the calendars you have already designed or partially completed. Now, as a Premium Member, you will be able to add clipart to your calendar. Click here to see the clipart we have available.

How can I add the captions for each picture, the cover title, and back cover dedication?

When uploading your image files you will be able to add in your monthly captions. To add the cover title and back cover dedication, go to the last month of your calendar and click on the "Cover" button at the bottom of the page. Only Premium Members can add a dedication to the back cover.

Can I choose the font for my calendar?

Yes. Premium Members will be able to choose one of 28 fonts. Free members will be able to choose one of three fonts. The entire calendar -- title, captions, grid, special occasions, dedication, etc. will all be in the same font. When you design your calendar, you will be given the opportunity to select your font when you enter your other calendar information. Please note: Certain combinations of letters will result in a line of text that is too wide for the date and may result in calendar grids which are longer than one page. If this happens we suggest you shorten the text for that line or select another font. Click here to see our selection of fonts.

How many calendars can I design and print?

As many as you want! Design and print unlimited free personalized photo calendars. Design and print unlimited personalized photo calendars with all of the Premium Membership features for the duration of your Premium Membership. How big are the calendars?

Full-Size and Tear-Off calendars are made up of two 8.5 inch by 11 inch sheets in landscape (horizontal) format. The image takes up one 8.5 by 11 and the grid takes up another. Half-size calendars are made up of one 8.5 by 11 inch sheet in portrait (vertical) format.

Can I print duplicate calendars at a later date?

Yes. When you create an accout and design your calendar, it will be saved in your account. You will be able to access those previously created calendars to reprint duplicates or to make changes and print new calendars.

Do you have any suggestions for binding my calendars now that they are printed?

We suggest that you take your calendars to a local copy shop or a place such as FedExKinko's for binding. In the future, we hope to be able to offer calendar kits, including paper and binding, to our customers.

I signed up and paid for a Premium Membership, but it's been revoked.

When you make your payment for your Premium Membership, it must go through 2CheckOut.com's fraud clearances. If it fails their fraud clearance checks, your Premium Membership will be automatically revoked. If you feel that your Premium Membership has been revoked in error, please contact us.

I'm a previous customer. Can I get a discount on the Premium Membership?

If you were a customer of My Calendar Maker between July 2006 and 2008 and had your calendars printed and bound through our company, you may be eligible for a discount on our Premium Memberships. Please visit our Premium Membership Pricing and Features page and we'll provide you with a coupon code for a discount on our Premium Membership. You must be logged in with the same email used to create the original calendar in order to get the discount. Please contact us if you are unable to get a coupon code, but are a previous customer.

What is My Calendar Maker's refund policy?


Refunds are not available for Premium Memberships. We recommend that you sign up for a Premium Membership once you are completely ready to design and print your personalized photo calendars.
